Joss Whedon, Veronica Mars and...Harry Potter

Buffy, Angel, Firefly and Serenity mastermind Joss Whedon - who has been a very vocal supporter of HP in the past - waxes poetic about his love for the TV show Veronica Mars in a recent blog post, and in doing so (eventually) ascribes his long list of superlatives about it to Harry Potter:

"Best. Show. Ever. Seriously, I’ve never gotten more wrapped up in a show I wasn’t making, and maybe even more than those. Crazy crisp dialogue. Incredibly tight plotting. Big emotion, I mean BIG, and charsimatic actors and I was just DYING from the mystery and the relationships and PAIN, this show knows from pain and no, I don’t care, laugh all you want, I had to share this. These guys know what they’re doing on a level that intimidates me. It’s the Harry Potter of shows."

Tell us how you really feel, Joss!

    Buffy, Firefly, and Harry Potter together in the same article!!! I’m in heaven! I think it would be awesome if Joss directed or otherwise got involved in a Harry Potter film!!

    to the person who said they think they are the only one who doesn’t like harry potter, that’s not true... i haven’t read any of the books and only saw the first movie, i guess it wasn’t for me, that or i can’t have any more obsessions so i can’t risk it lol : )
