Joss Whedon has done more hinting about possibly casting Morena Baccarin as Wonder Woman, this time on the Serenity DVD. In the commentary track for the deleted scenes (most of which were scenes featuring Morena), he first discussed a scene that he had to delete of Inara training new companions in how to handle a bow and arrow, but said "It looked too much like Wonder Woman. Pause for dramatic irony. End pause." Later, when talking about how Morena’s scenes had been mostly deleted, he made a point of "making it up to her later," which sounded much like he intends to use her heavily in a future project. Considering that Serenity’s future is questionable at best, it’s hard not to think he meant giving her a role in Wonder Woman, possibly as Wonder Woman herself.
