Joss Whedon announces "Ripper" Tv Movie with Anthony Head & BBC

The most exciting news of all this 2007 Comic Con :

Ripper is in effect !

Ripper is the long-discussed story of Giles (Anthony Stewart Head) pre-Buffy.

Who knows whether or not this plot will stay the same, but Head is on board as is the BBC, which is planning to film the story as one 90 minute TV movie.
