The appearances of Joss Whedon on two back-to-back episodes of his own show Angel are hopelessly geeky. If you can get past that - and we can, with reckless abandon - you’ll find a gem of a cameo. In the second season of Angel, Whedon plays Numfar - a demon in the world of Pylea, Lorne’s imbecilic brother. When Numfar does The Dance of Joy at his hideous mother’s bidding, it’s joyful indeed. We love that Joss Whedon doesn’t mind looking like an ass. He’s an unapologetic dork. We can relate.
