The game combines the intense action of a "AAA" console shooter, with the persistence, scale, and customization of an MMO, while its TV counterpart weaves the rich tapestry of the world into a series with the scope, characters, and drama of a classic sci-fi epic. Cast Grant Bowler The New Zealand-born actor (True Blood, Ugly Betty) plays Jeb Nolan, former Marine and current law keeper in the bustling frontier town of Defiance. Julie Benz The Dexter and No Ordinary Family star plays Amanda Rosewater, the idealistic mayor of Defiance who is committed to maintaining peace in a deadly new world. Graham Greene The Oscar-nominated actor (Dances With Wolves) plays Rafe McCawley, richest man in Defiance and owner of the largest mine in the territory. Jaime Murray Best known for her role as H.G. Wells in Syfy’s Warehouse 13, Murray portrays Stahma Tarr, a high-ranking member of the elite Castithan alien race. Tony Curran The Scottish actor (League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Blade II), plays Datak Tarr, scheming Castithan alien and ark survivor. Michael Taylor The Executive Producer of Defiance, Taylor has a sci-fi resume that includes Battlestar Galactica, Caprica, and The Dead Zone.
