While the days of the pop royalty relationship are long gone, Justin Timberlake still thinks about it. In fact, in July 25th’s issue of GQ Magazine, he will open up and gush about it.

The Chicago Tribune starts off our list of Timberlake quotes, by nabbing one of him confessing his love at first sight when the two met on The Mickey Mouse Club. "I was in love with her from the start. I was infatuated with her from the moment I saw her." However, as People reports, once the relationship was over, things changed in a big way. "When we initially parted ways I felt like she had a couple of opportunities to just sort of stick up for me, and she didn’t. "Which is fine. But at that time, you know, I fought back."

As for Justin’s revenge about the break-up, the pop singer exacted revenge in the best way he knew how. ABC News quoted Timberlake, "I used my mind. I came up with a song." That song, in case you were wondering, was "Cry Me a River".

As for how he feels now, CNN carries the quote. "wish her well, and I want to see her win. I don’t think you can ever count somebody like her out. Because she may appear one way, but she’s very clever." This fact came to light after Timberlake confessed that the former couple don’t talk to each other anymore. Since their relationship, which Justin called "so high school", Britney Spears has gone on to marry her back-up dancer, Kevin Federline. They have one child, Sean Preston, and Spears is pregnant with the couple’s second child. As for Timberlake, he’s moved on to an "adult" relationship with Hollywood hottie Cameron Diaz.

Regarding his new relationship, Justin Timberlake told GQ "For me, this time around, it’s been important to stay, at least as much as I can, out of the limelight. And I think that’s made it more enriching. I’ve received so much more from it by keeping it just between the two people it’s supposed to be between. Some people, especially here, are happy to offer themselves up in that way. But I come from a small town where, like, to give someone privacy means to give them respect."

Timberlake credits his strong relationship with some simple reasoning. "There’s no pretense about anything. It’s just a sort of coming together of two people." Despite his relationship, Timberlake lives by himself. Well, and his two dogs: Buckley and Brennan. Timberlake confesses he doesn’t mind it at all. "I have my own house. It’s very important. Healthy. Don’t you ever need your own space?"

As for his career, Justin Timberlake has a new album coming close its to release date(which is Sept 12). About it, Timberlake spills "It’s very different from the last album. Like, the last album, so much of what was happening in my life was fed into the album. And people would psychoanalyze the songs. But I didn’t care, because it meant they were actually listening to the songs. It sent everybody into this guessing game, which - I can’t lie - was sort of fun for me."

After his time with the Mickey Mouse Club, Timberlake joined the boy band N Sync. He stayed with N Sync from 1996 through 2002, with fellow members Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick. After having hits like "I Want You Back", "Tearin’ Up My Heart", "Bye Bye Bye", "It’s Gonna Be Me" and "Pop, Timberlake went solo. His first album, Justified, features hits like "Like I Love You", "Cry Me A River", "Rock Your Body" and "Senorita". His new album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, already has its first single, "SexyBack", playing on the radio. Timberlake has also appeared in films such as Edison Force, Alpha Dog, Black Snake Moan, Southland Tales, and will appear with girlfriend Cameron Diaz in Shrek 3.
