IF YOU PREFER BACHELORS: American Idol winner Taylor Hicks is ranked as the No. 1 "hottest bachelor" by People in its latest issue.

But Hicks says he could be persuaded to change his status soon.

"I’ve been in a bubble," he tells the magazine. "Now I wouldn’t mind spending the rest of my life with the right woman."

(Ms. Right is "cool," he says, "easy to get along with," naturally beautiful, tall and "deep. Shallow does not turn me on at all.")

NOT TO GO OFF ON A TANGENT, BUT: Maybe it’s our fading eyesight. Maybe it’s the lighting in the photos. But it sure looks like the prematurely gray Hicks has been dipping into the Grecian Formula since winning Idol.

HOW HOT IS WENTWORTH MILLER? He also was named one of TV’s sexiest guys by TV Guide in its new issue and is one of four picks featured on special covers.

NICOLE KIDMAN’S TASTE IN MEN ISN’T THAT BAD: Her fiance, Keith Urban, is country music’s sexiest man, according to readers of Country Weekly magazine.

Not caring whose egos it bruised - it can blame the roughly 32,000 people it says voted online and by mail - Country Weekly ranked the other finishers in the top 10: in order, Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Gary Allan, Chris Cagle, George Strait, Alan Jackson and Billy Ray Cyrus.

"The biggest surprise is how rapidly over the last couple of years Keith Urban has shot to the head of the class," editor Bill Gubbins says in an Associated Press report.

QUICK SCORECARD CHECK: That’s two appearances each for Miller and Chesney. America voted, in one way or another, and the TV show with the most mentions is American Idol with three. The hottest and sexiest nonreality TV series is Grey’s Anatomy with two mentions (neither of them nicknamed McDreamy). The CSI franchise has two (for once, something in Miami isn’t deemed sexy or hot).

And the Disney Channel has one pick: Cyrus, who plays the father of a teenage singing star who is played by his real-life daughter on Hannah Montana. On Father’s Day, here’s to the hot Dad vibe.
