Cavs Win Finals The Cleveland Cavaliers win the Finals! Cavs win! ... And they did it without LeBron James. Who would have thunk it? OK, so it wasn’t the NBA’s Cavaliers. And they didn’t exactly hoist the Larry O’Brien trophy after the victory. No matter, the NBA Entertainment League’s Cavaliers took home the league title, besting the Los Angeles Clippers in the championship game. Dean Cain played the role of Superman (Get it?), nailing five three-pointers. Cain, an NBAE League All-Star, had help from fellow All-Star Josh Bratten. Las Vegas star James Lesure and O-Town’s Trevor Penick paced the Clippers in a losing cause. In other postseason league news news, former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Marc Blucas was voted regular season Most Valuable Player. Blucas, representing the New York Knicks, led his team to the Eastern Conference Finals. The actor played college basketball with Tim Duncan at Wake Forest.
