Mark Burnett To Executive Produce MTV Movie Awards (sarah michelle gellar mention)

MTV announced today that Mark Burnett, one of the most famous names in reality television, will be executive producing the 2007 MTV Movie Awards. Mark Burnett is best known as the mastermind behind such reality shows as Survivor, The Contender, The Apprentice, and Rock Star. The 16th Annual MTV Movie Awards will premiere live on MTV, Sunday June 3rd from Los Angeles, California. In addition to the regular categories of "Best Kiss," "Best Villain," and "Best Comedic Performance," several new awards are scheduled to debut.

Salli Frattini, who has served as executive producer of the Movie Awards for the past 10 years, will return and work closely with Burnett as well.
