In time-period premiere news, Fox’s Point Pleasant wasn’t so pleasant, with a mere 4.1/ 6 in the overnights (#3), 5.60 million viewers (#4) and a 2.7/ 7 among adults 18-49 (#3). It’s a bad result.

Personally I thought it was kinda like the first season of buffy, good but could be way better.

Re: 21 million thing: That’s why I checked on this article too, I was under the impression it’s in danger of cancellation. But I think they counted the people who continued to watch after American Idol, there must be a number of them who saw hte first 5 minutes or so, it’s just that most of them did not stick around the entire hour.

i saw the first episode and i wasn’t really impressed by it. i think what really turned me off about it the show is that i live in Jersey, and none of that even resembled the real Point Pleasant. yeah, i know its supposed to be focused on this chick and not the actual town, but for someone who lives close to Point, its just a disapointment.
