Michelle Trachtenberg - ’Mysterious Skin’ Movie - Gets A MovieZone Award

The MovieZone jury, consisting of Marthe Amesz (19), Ryanne van Dorst (20), Kasper Kerkhoffs (22), Marcel Verhagen (23) and Sam de Zeeuw (18) have chosen US director Gregg Araki’s psychological drama MYSTERIOUS SKIN as their favourite film of the festival.

The film, about a teenage hustler and a young man obsessed with alien abductions that cross paths and together discover a horrible, liberating truth, screens for a final time tonight at 22.30 in Pathé 1. Invited by IFFR and the Dutch Institute for Film Education, the MovieZone young adults’ jury prize is worth €5,000 to the winning film, to help promote it within the MovieZone screenings programme in Dutch arthouses.
