Michelle Trachtenberg and Jason Lewis... a new dating rumor

Michelle Trachtenberg and Jason Lewis have provoked dating rumors after they were spotted on a date at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles.

"They just began hanging out," so said a source to American publication US Weekly. No official statement released by either party.

Lewis is former "Sex and the City" actor and has previously dated American film actress Rosario Dawson from 2004 to November last year.

As of Trachtenberg, the beauty is the former star of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and has recently been romantically linked with Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz.

    This rumor is false. The person who claimed to have seen her with Jason Lewis mistook an E! columnist for Jason Lewis and made this rumor up.

    She never dated Peter Wentz, either. They have both denied the rumors of the two of them being coupled up.

    Is it me, or is the press becoming really stupid lately?
