New Angel Figures By Diamond Toys - Medium Quality Photos

Direct from the Whedon-verse, Diamond Select Toys is proud to introduce the core assortment of our upcoming Angel action figure release. The assortment will feature Season 5 Angel, Season 3 Fred and "Shells" Illyria, which will have limited availability! Standing 6" tall and based on digital scans, this latest release will feature 14-16 points of articulation; include several episode-specific accessories, and detailed bases!

Season 5 Angel shows our leading vampire with a soul as he appeared during his tenure at Wolfram & Hart. Season 3 Fred shows off Fred’s quirky personality... and her pigtails! The limited "Shells" Illyria brings our favorite blue-haired god to life as she first appeared in this world. This core assortment will be solicited in the June issue of Previews magazine and will be available wherever Buffy and Angel action figures are sold.

Details concerning the exclusive versions of both characters will be announced in the near future along with more information detailing each figure’s accessories and base. It’s safe to say there are a few surprises in store, so check back often!

    Angel and Fred look terrible! They ugliified them. Illyria looks Ok but I hope there only prototype clothes there wearing.

    UGH! Ok seriously Angel and Fred are horrible, they dont resemble David or Amy at all! Although Illyria looks good on the face, I think she should be in her "armour".

    dude, I have collected Star Wars figures for some time now. They never manage to get the face sculpts right on many of the main characters. But after seeing these awful Angel and Fred figures, I will not be complaining about my Star Wars anymore. I mean, come on. And what is with the little articulation pegs extending outside the body? That looks so ridiculous.

    First off, this is the FIRST Illyria figure, and as such she is wearing what Fred was when she passed on. Anyone who assumes there will be no Illyria figure in her "armor" later on has a serious case of chicken-little syndrome.

    Secondly, these are PROTOTYPES, and the final product will probably differ in some ways. Those joint-pegs won’t be there when the final figures are released. Have you never seen prototype figures before? I’m guessing the answer is a "no".

    Sheesh, folks. Calm yourselves. I hate to sound so condecending, but some of the replies here just make me shake my head.
