A Look At The Angel PALz Exclusive

“You’re my Ay-ay-ay-angel, come and save me tonight...”

So sang Steven Tyler on the hit track “Angel” from Aerosmith’s landmark 1987 album, Permanent Vacation.

Okay, my segues are getting lame. Today, we’re going to take a look at the last Buffy PALz figure that we’ve not shown off yet - Angel, who will be available exclusively through Diamond Comic Distribution. That means, get down to your local comic shop, and tell them that you want Angel!! Check him out:

That’s the standard Angel, from Season 1. I’m not going to take the time to show you a step by step transformation this time, but if you take of the white arms, add the jacket, and add the black arms, you get Angel with his jacket on:

Ooh, scary Vampire face!! And that’s just a PART of Angel’s transformation... because he also comes with a second torso:

What’s the deal with this torso? This torso is not only episode specific, but it’s from one PRECISE moment in a particular episode. Of course, I am referring to the very end of the first season episode entitled “Angel” in which Buffy and Angel kiss, and the silver cross that she is wearing burns into Angel’s flesh. See the little burnt cross? Well, here’s what he looks like with the cross burnt into his flesh, and the jacket on:

Well, that’s still just a PART of Angel’s transformation. Because as all of you female viewers probably know, Angel spent a good part of the time running around with his shirt off... And so, with the PALz Angel, you get a THIRD torso: Nekkid!!

Damn, that is one buff block figure. You can almost hear the little block figure ladies swooning... So, as you can see, there are many Angels that you can make in this one pack:

(3.) White shirt, no cross, black jacket, human face
(4.) White shirt, no cross, black jacket, Vampire face

And if you’re felling really wacky, you can put the jacket on over the naked torso... But I am not going to count that...

Finally, as we all know, Angel has a tattoo on his right shoulder blade. You didn’t think Palisades would forget a detail like that, did you?
