Nytimes.com Rafael FeldmanRafael Feldman marries Consuelo CostinThursday 25 October 2007, by Webmaster Consuelo Gilmore Costin, the daughter of Serena Vanderbilt Van Ingen McCallum of Tiburon, Calif., and Brackenridge Costin of Los Angeles, was married on Friday evening to Rafael Feldman, a son of Gallia Feldman and Stanley Feldman of Toronto. Blackburne Costin, an uncle of the bride who became a Universal Life minister for the occasion, officiated at the Viansa Winery in Sonoma, Calif. Ms. Costin, 27, is keeping her name. She is a singer and songwriter who performs with a band called Costin, which has been signed by Sanctuary Records to produce an album in Britain. She has appeared in a short film, “Something in Between” (2002), and is the vice president of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. Her father, who has his own firm, BCC & Associates in Los Angeles, is a life coach and consultant to people in the entertainment industry and to companies. Her mother is a photographer specializing in family portraits and events. The bride is an eighth-generation descendant of Cornelius Vanderbilt. Mr. Feldman, 29, is a film and television actor. He has appeared in the 2005 film “Serenity,” the series “Monk” on the USA network and the 2004 movie “Murder Without Conviction,” also on USA. His mother is a legal assistant to two lawyers in the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General in Toronto. His father is a painter whose work has been shown in exhibitions and galleries including the Toronto Art Expo, PI Fine Art and the Grace Gallery, all in Toronto. |
