Reilly and Seann William Scott are in negotiations to star in the comedy feature "Quebec," playing two assistant managers of a large grocery chain who compete with each other for a coveted promotion. Lili Taylor ("The Notorious Bettie Page") and Jenna Fischer (NBC’s "The Office") would portray their frustrated wives, respectively. The Dimension Films project marks the feature directing debut of Steve Conrad, who wrote "The Weather Man" and the upcoming Will Smith saga "Pursuit of Happyness." He also wrote the "Quebec" script. Also joining the cast are Fred Armisen ("Saturday Night Live") as the store manager, and Gil Bellows ("Ally McBeal") as a member of the board of directors of the chain’s management. Reilly next appears in Robert Altman’s "A Prairie Home Companion," while Scott stars in Richard Kelly’s "Southland Tales," which will premiere this month at Cannes. |
