Movies on Madison is bringing the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival (TFF) uptown for the first time this year with a two-week long movie preview event from April 18 - May 5. In a joint salute to the 40th Anniversary of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre & Broadcasting, the public will experience a preview of the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival with windows spotlighting films showing at this year’s festival April 25 - May 6 in participating boutiques from 57th to 86th Street. Each of the stores has “adopted” a TFF film they will showcase in their windows, in store exhibitions, and private receptions with a percentage of sales benefiting the Tribeca Film Institute. The event is sponsored by American Express and presented by the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District (BID). The Tribeca Film Festival partnered stores with an exceptional selection of films that capture the spirit of the brands. For example, Oilily chose “Planet B-Boy.” Cartier selected “The Air I Breathe.” DKNY opted for “Education of Charlie Banks.” Calypso went romantic with “2 Days in Paris”, while Joseph went dramatic with “You Kill Me.” |
