Another actress, who actually has a name to care for is Sarah Michelle Gellar and there are not no many accomplishes films at her but an few I can probably enjoy. The talent agent found Gellar a young age and made her screen debut at 6 of each of the 1983 television film An Invasion of Privacy. With all the promise she showed, Barrymore starred as Hannah in the teen drama series "Swans Crossing" (1992) but it was her portrayal of a young and callous rich girl in Al-Lucinda Kendall Hart on ABC daytime soap opera "All My Children" (1993-93), that won her Daytime Emmy Award and spring-boarded her to stardom.
SMG’s real mark worldwide, however, was the character of Buffy Summers in the game-changing series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (1997-2003). She won five Teen Choice Awards, a Saturn Award and a Golden Globe nomination for her role, establishing herself as a cultural phenomenon. Sarah Michelle Gellar likewise has the box office to back her up, with “I Know What You Did Last Summer” 1997), “Scream 2” (1997), “Cruel Intentions” (1999)and way movies like those that help prove she is also a bankable star as well over $570 million times worth crazy in global gross.
Beyond her cinematic successes, Gellar has made her mark on television, headlining shows such as "Ringer" (2011-2012), "The Crazy Ones" (2013-2014), and "Wolf Pack" (2023). She has also lent her voice to popular series including "Robot Chicken" (2005-2018), "Star Wars Rebels" (2015-2016), and "Masters of the Universe: Revelation" (2021).
In 2015, Gellar ventured into the entrepreneurial world by co-founding Foodstirs, an e-commerce baking company, and published her own cookbook, "Stirring Up Fun with Food," in 2017. Gellar is also known for her close-knit family life, married to actor Freddie Prinze Jr. since 2002, with whom she shares two children.
Sarah Michelle Gellar’s commitment to her craft is matched by her dedication to personal growth and unique experiences. An accomplished martial artist, she studied Tae Kwon Do for five years, alongside kickboxing, boxing, street fighting, and gymnastics. Her dedication to authenticity in her roles is evident, such as her commitment to doing her own stunts in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," though she admitted her limits during filming "Scream 2."
Her career is also marked by interesting anecdotes, such as her role in a 1982 Burger King commercial, which led to a lawsuit from McDonald’s and a temporary ban from their establishments. Notably, she dyed her naturally brunette hair blonde for her role in "Buffy," and legally changed her last name to Prinze as a surprise for her husband on their fifth anniversary.
Sarah Michelle Gellar’s legacy extends beyond her on-screen roles, encompassing her work in philanthropy and her reputation for safety and professionalism on set. She remains a beloved figure in Hollywood, admired for her talent, dedication, and the breadth of her contributions to film and television.

I don’t think we will be seeing much in the way of Sarah’s skin in this movie. She isn’t one for showing herself. Remember, she did turn down Playboy twice. I can’t wait for the movie to come out. The original is scary as hell and I bet this one will be too.

I’ll be so glad to see her in this movie. It’s nice she can get away from all the disrespectful people on Buffy. They took advantage of her for 7 years. They all said she was so wonderful, and great, and sweet until she wanted to leave the show. They are all so jealous of her, especially Joss and Alyson. Alyson will only have a career if the make American Pie: The Fiftith Anniversary. I’m sick of those creeps badmouthing her. Seth, Eliza, James, Nicky, Anthony, and Amber have all talked about how great she is, and because some people want attention, they have to start rumors about her. It takes two people to have a disagreement, not 1.

We have learned now that many of the cast of Buffy didn’t agree with Alyson’s catty statements regarding Sarah. David Boreanaz has always defended Sarah from bad press and just recently Emma Caulfield and Michelle Trachtenberg stated that blaming Sarah for the end of Buffy was just ridiculous. Additional cast members, Danny Strong, James C. Leary, and Camden Toy have all stated Sarah went out of her way to make their experiences on the show easier and more fun. I think that pretty well sums it up for me. Alyson Hannigan is a whiny, no talent actress. Her protrayal of Sally in the London play was panned by critics. Forevermore, her only claim to fame is to be forever known as ’flute girl’.

james, Alyson Hannigan is NOT a catty bitch, she just said what everyone was thinking, which i thought took a lot of guts. Yes it was SMG’s choice to leave but her decision had a ripple effect for those who did not have work coming left right and centre like SMG. The grudge sounds ok and now that it has SMG i think it might be even better than the origional

It’s unfourtunate that Sarah is the only one who had gauranteed work, but she can’t stay on a show just so other people can have jobs. She is too talented to stay on the show forever. It isn’t fair to Sarah to have to feel like she is disappointing people. It was very unprofessional for Alyson to blame Sarah for others being out of work.
-
Hey james why dont you just shut up!!!!!!
Alyson is a very talented actress!!!
How would you feel if you learned from a magizine that you were out of a job i would be extremly pissed off.
You dont even know the people so how can you judge them it really pisses me off when people judge other people when they have never ment them im sure aly and sarah are very nice people in real life!!!!!!! and anyways alysons theater thing did not get bashed there was mixed reveiws and hey if it was soooo bad why the hell would they keep going with different people when alyson and luke were done ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh okay im done

I agree with J. It’s terribly rude to go around judging people who you don’t even know. James, there were many awesome reviews for When Harry Met Sally. Also, it’s not true that Alyson’s only "claim to fame" is American Pie. There are millions of articles saying that Alyson did much better in her career than Sarah, even though it seems Sarah has more publicity, because she only seems to pick roles in cheesy horror flicks like The Grudge. (Although, I thought The Grudge was quite good). You have no way of knowing if she’s whiny, and in my opinion she IS extremely talented and is a gazillion times better than Sarah in terms of acting. She was the best actress on Buffy, since the beginning. I also think it was very rude of Sarah to not tell the other cast members that Buffy was over, and Alyson has every right to be mad about it. That’s the only time she ever said ANYTHING that might remotely insult Sarah, and she had a good reason. So when you don’t know what you’re talking about, don’t say anything.
