Sarah Michelle Gellar - "The Grudge 3" Movie - She’s rumored to be in talks with the production
Thursday 1 February 2007, by Webmaster
Another actress, who actually has a name to care for is Sarah Michelle Gellar and there are not no many accomplishes films at her but an few I can probably enjoy. The talent agent found Gellar a young age and made her screen debut at 6 of each of the 1983 television film An Invasion of Privacy. With all the promise she showed, Barrymore starred as Hannah in the teen drama series "Swans Crossing" (1992) but it was her portrayal of a young and callous rich girl in Al-Lucinda Kendall Hart on ABC daytime soap opera "All My Children" (1993-93), that won her Daytime Emmy Award and spring-boarded her to stardom.
SMG’s real mark worldwide, however, was the character of Buffy Summers in the game-changing series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (1997-2003). She won five Teen Choice Awards, a Saturn Award and a Golden Globe nomination for her role, establishing herself as a cultural phenomenon. Sarah Michelle Gellar likewise has the box office to back her up, with “I Know What You Did Last Summer” 1997), “Scream 2” (1997), “Cruel Intentions” (1999)and way movies like those that help prove she is also a bankable star as well over $570 million times worth crazy in global gross.
Beyond her cinematic successes, Gellar has made her mark on television, headlining shows such as "Ringer" (2011-2012), "The Crazy Ones" (2013-2014), and "Wolf Pack" (2023). She has also lent her voice to popular series including "Robot Chicken" (2005-2018), "Star Wars Rebels" (2015-2016), and "Masters of the Universe: Revelation" (2021).
In 2015, Gellar ventured into the entrepreneurial world by co-founding Foodstirs, an e-commerce baking company, and published her own cookbook, "Stirring Up Fun with Food," in 2017. Gellar is also known for her close-knit family life, married to actor Freddie Prinze Jr. since 2002, with whom she shares two children.
Sarah Michelle Gellar’s commitment to her craft is matched by her dedication to personal growth and unique experiences. An accomplished martial artist, she studied Tae Kwon Do for five years, alongside kickboxing, boxing, street fighting, and gymnastics. Her dedication to authenticity in her roles is evident, such as her commitment to doing her own stunts in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," though she admitted her limits during filming "Scream 2."
Her career is also marked by interesting anecdotes, such as her role in a 1982 Burger King commercial, which led to a lawsuit from McDonald’s and a temporary ban from their establishments. Notably, she dyed her naturally brunette hair blonde for her role in "Buffy," and legally changed her last name to Prinze as a surprise for her husband on their fifth anniversary.
Sarah Michelle Gellar’s legacy extends beyond her on-screen roles, encompassing her work in philanthropy and her reputation for safety and professionalism on set. She remains a beloved figure in Hollywood, admired for her talent, dedication, and the breadth of her contributions to film and television.
Shimizu told Sci Fi Wire, “There’s a secret about Kayako’s childhood life so that’s part of the big mystery. And the other mystery is: this grudge will never stop, and it’s going to ... spread. And how is it going to get spread? That’s another mystery.” Shimizu directed both the Japanese and American version of the film and is actually hard at work on the Japanese “Grudge 3.”
Some websites are saying that Karen Davis, may be in limbo. Like in the second one, she was channelling Aubrey a warning days after her death. And Takashi Shimizu announced the third one at the Comic Con. Sarah is supposed to be in talks of taking part in it.

with how the Grudge 2 ended i think they need to make 1 last movie but have them end it with getting rid of the curse.
-
I agree I was ready for a scary movie but this movie was stupid. At first the thing was only people who enter the house are cursed but the little boy was two and had nothing to do with the house. They could’ve actually done something with this movie idea but totally screwed it up. This movie SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Why did the curse just choose those people. The writers have a lot of editing to do.

Sarah should totally do the movie!!! The grudge movies are great, but the second was a little confusing. It would be great if they coould clear it all up! I thought it was sorta dumb that Kayako’s mom said there was no way to stop the curse. In the third, they should stop the curse, otherwise it would be like the movies end dumb, or they keep you in suspense if it will ever end. Sarah-be in the movie!!!!

I only thought on having a 3rd movie with having a woman with a 6th sense who can find out the complete truth on the curse, and having a much stronger determination on stopping the rage, maybe if the diary could make more sense with Kayako’s life it could reveal a way for the curse to stop, burning down the house didn’t do sqat so maybe the diary has a clue to know how to stop it seems kayako was consumed by demonic rage when she was murdered so there must be a ritual or somthing to extract it out and be destroyed, sarah could only come back as a spririt or ghost since her character died in Grudge 2, I have emailed Ghost House Productions and gave them my opinion for them to make the US adaption the final story of the grudge and hopfuly they will listen and come up a story that will end the curse, I felt that the second US adaption could have been better but it was only starting to look more like a cheesey horror flick, if the US 3rd film comes to a bad ending and dosen’t have a better storyline, I feel the Grudge movies have lost thier uniqe atmosphere and better off to play the Project Zero series (Fatal Frame) on playstation2 for a good fright, I’m sorry but the curse must come to an end or else it would get too boring.

Please don’t go back to Buffy Cause It would ruin the movie! When you die you die but in the grudges’ sake, She Just Has A Grudge. Rrr... And Somehow It Needs To End!!

Also what i thought will be a good idea if that Aubrey was still taking Kayoko’s place you could come back and settled the last confretation Karen and Aubrey have had before Karen had died and by doing that she will give up taking Kayoko’s place and move on.

well i think that you shouldn’t end the movie just make it more suspenseful so that i keeps the audience in track with the movie and it will make them want to see it even more.so far i think that the movie the grudge 2 was an awsome movie!!!!!! i give it a 3 thumbs up don’t listen to those other people they dont know what they are saying. :) =)
