Sarah Michelle Gellar - Upset With Her husband

Another actress, who actually has a name to care for is Sarah Michelle Gellar and there are not no many accomplishes films at her but an few I can probably enjoy. The talent agent found Gellar a young age and made her screen debut at 6 of each of the 1983 television film An Invasion of Privacy. With all the promise she showed, Barrymore starred as Hannah in the teen drama series "Swans Crossing" (1992) but it was her portrayal of a young and callous rich girl in Al-Lucinda Kendall Hart on ABC daytime soap opera "All My Children" (1993-93), that won her Daytime Emmy Award and spring-boarded her to stardom.
SMG’s real mark worldwide, however, was the character of Buffy Summers in the game-changing series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (1997-2003). She won five Teen Choice Awards, a Saturn Award and a Golden Globe nomination for her role, establishing herself as a cultural phenomenon. Sarah Michelle Gellar likewise has the box office to back her up, with “I Know What You Did Last Summer” 1997), “Scream 2” (1997), “Cruel Intentions” (1999)and way movies like those that help prove she is also a bankable star as well over $570 million times worth crazy in global gross.
Beyond her cinematic successes, Gellar has made her mark on television, headlining shows such as "Ringer" (2011-2012), "The Crazy Ones" (2013-2014), and "Wolf Pack" (2023). She has also lent her voice to popular series including "Robot Chicken" (2005-2018), "Star Wars Rebels" (2015-2016), and "Masters of the Universe: Revelation" (2021).
In 2015, Gellar ventured into the entrepreneurial world by co-founding Foodstirs, an e-commerce baking company, and published her own cookbook, "Stirring Up Fun with Food," in 2017. Gellar is also known for her close-knit family life, married to actor Freddie Prinze Jr. since 2002, with whom she shares two children.
Sarah Michelle Gellar’s commitment to her craft is matched by her dedication to personal growth and unique experiences. An accomplished martial artist, she studied Tae Kwon Do for five years, alongside kickboxing, boxing, street fighting, and gymnastics. Her dedication to authenticity in her roles is evident, such as her commitment to doing her own stunts in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," though she admitted her limits during filming "Scream 2."
Her career is also marked by interesting anecdotes, such as her role in a 1982 Burger King commercial, which led to a lawsuit from McDonald’s and a temporary ban from their establishments. Notably, she dyed her naturally brunette hair blonde for her role in "Buffy," and legally changed her last name to Prinze as a surprise for her husband on their fifth anniversary.
Sarah Michelle Gellar’s legacy extends beyond her on-screen roles, encompassing her work in philanthropy and her reputation for safety and professionalism on set. She remains a beloved figure in Hollywood, admired for her talent, dedication, and the breadth of her contributions to film and television.
Hey guys, this was posted on another smg group. Its a fan-sighting from earlier this year. I couldnt get the entire thing, it was in parts and the second and third part didnt open for me.
"I ran across Sarah Michelle Gellar at a coffee shop," reports fan. "She was dressed casually and buying some sort of coffee freezer. A group of fans had already surrounded her, maybe 3 or 4 young teenage girls. I came up to her, very excited because I have been a fan of hers for 5 years, and asked her for a hug, she was very kind and said yes. One of the girls that had first stopped her was asked her if she was happy with the way Buffy ended. Sarah said it
wasnt perfect but she was satisfied with where her character ended. Another girl said something like "but poor Spike" and Sarah laughed saying "James is still working" she was reffering to his work on ANGEL." The fan reports that Sarah’s cell phone rang a short time later. Sarah excused herself to answer the phone, "Sarah walked back
a few feet for privacy. I felt like that was the time to leave, in order to give her some space but the girls remained and I felt inclined to do the same."
The fan reports that she overheard Sarah Michelle Gellar talking to her husband (for those of you who dont know, Sarah is married to actor Freddie Prinze Jr.). The fan stated that Mrs. Gellar-Prinze seemed to get upset very quickly with her husband. "She told him that he was late and that she didnt want to hear his excuses. I couldnt
hear the entire conversation because she was a few feet away and her voice was soft but it was obvious she was in a fight with Freddie. She took maybe five minutes on the phone and then came back and excused herself. Her cheeks were flushed and she looked really upset, almost on the verge of tears. She signed a girl’s notebook and then
said she had to go call a taxi. I thought it was weird that she was alone, I’ve seen hera few times from a distance and she is always accompanied by a guard. On tv I see her with Freddie but never alone, I’m guessing that was what the fight was about. Freddie forgot to pick Sarah up. Poor Sarah."

Shame on the fans for staying there and listening to a private conversation after Sarah was so nice to them. And worse, shame on them for reporting what happened. I swear, is there any decency left in this world?

I agree, slight violation of her privacy, but it’s nice to see such a positive account of Sarah.

parasites.... SMG is not buffy... she will not give you buffy... she even said, "James is still working." which implies, and should spell out to fans, that acting is her job. this should be obvious, but obviously it isn’t. there is no way to buffy.

I totally agree. The fans should of walked away when her phone rang and left her at that. It’s her busniess-and not anyone else-who she was on the phone with. It’s kind of rude to listen in like that. If I was there, I would of said thank you as soon as her phone rang and walked out of the coffee shop or wherever she was. I mean sure, she is a celebrity, but she is also a person who deserves privacy.

well, they are *teenage* girls, you know how they like to gossip..

I think one of the worst things you could do to someone is gossip about them and start/circulate rumors, even if the news is true! It baffles my mind, here these girls call themselves fans, and what do they do? The minute Sarah’s back is turned, they turn around and cause her harm. Just because someone is a movie star does not give us average joes the entitlement to their private lives, I don’t care what the Inquirer says. As we all know, once you have begun the destructive cycle of a rumor/gossip/ the victim of it never fully recovers, because it just circulates and circulates. Just remember girls, what goes around COMES AROUND!

Oh please. You people saying that the fan shouldn’t have gossiped have no room to talk, seeing that you read the article. You wanted to read about Sarah being upset with her husband, so you’re into gossip as well. Who doesn’t enjoy a juicy bit of gossip? We’re human beings, it’s natural.

I love Sarah Michelle Gellar to death she is a wonderful actress and my daughters and I still watch Buffy the Vampire slayer everyday. We miss seeing her doing that show. And we also miss seeing her with David who played Angel. When I noticed that I didn’t see Freddie around with Sarah I thought that there was trouble in that marriage. I hope not and I hope that Freddie knows what kind of woman he has before he loses her. He is very lucky to have Sarah in his life as a wife.Freddie get your ass in gear before you lose something that is very good for you! Sarah love’s Freddie with all her heart and soul!
One of Sarah’s ghreatest Fans,
Sharon D.

OK, I’ve had about enough. What piece of excrement decided to tell everyone about this? What type of low-class, sloping-foreheaded, mentally-challenged piece of filth decided to tell others about this? A woman pissed off at her husband. Wow, that’s never happened before...
People like this make me nauseous. No, wait, they make me angry. You know, if I was a star and had quibble with my spouse and some prick just stood around, I’d probably whoop ’em.

I agree with the ppl who said it was none of their buissness to listen into Sarah’s conversation. I’ve seen Freddie and Sarah together and Freddie loves her and does treat her right so it’s not like their breaking up over one spat if it’s even true (rolls eyes)

well...how interesting was this piece of ****!!!! you’ve got to be kidding me! no, really, i just can’t beleave someone has just reported this "I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E" event on that web site... i totally agree with the last message about this subject. some people should realy get a life. i mean, it happens everyday, a woman having a "quarrel" with her husband.... it’s not cuz freddie was not walking in the street with sarah once that it means they’re going to "split" (reference to caleb’s splitting in the last episode:-D ).
sorry to be rude, but this really piss me of... what’s more, the girls who’ve met sarah while walking in da street were totally unpolite to stay near here when she was dialing with freddie, even if, as it is said, she went a few feet away...
by the way, i’m french and i apologize for the mistakes :-P

Still, great story though. It really gives me great insight into Sarah and Freddie’s life!

Hey, he shouldn’t be late. You have to be on time for her every day. There is no lame explination for what you did to her. Your like the only person that does something like that. you just can’t do that to Sarah Michelle Gellar. DON’T TREAT HER LIKE THAT. Your lucky you have her, charish that man.

Does any one really give a f**k? I mean who doesn’t argue with somone thay love at some point in their life. It isn’t really a big deal.I’d worry more if they could live their lives with out any kind of arguments.
Sarah, seemed to be more than pleasent with the girls and if she was upset then she did more that alot of people would have.I don’t think it was a nice way of repaying her kindness by starting of this thread. It’s maddness to think they live their lives any different to you or I.

you know, for all those who are saying it’s natural for people to intrested in this stuff... it’s one thing if it’s something that sarah or freedie publicly announced, but’s it takes a whole lot of lowness for someone to ease drop on a PRIVATE conversation and then go and post it on a web site...real mature. and then people bitch about how SMG isn’t nice, clearly she is
