SAVE ANGEL CAMPAIGN HEATS UP How good was last week’s Angel? It’s a real bummer that there are only like 7 more episodes of this show ever. Or are there? I don’t usually get behind the big fan campaigns to save TV shows (let’s face it - you can really put that energy to better use feeding people or registering voters or something), but a) I love Angel and b) this Save Angel campaign is incredibly sophisticated. These guys have raised FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS, which I think is more than Democratic presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich could pull in during his whole run. They’re doing three things: running a full page ad in Hollywood Reporter on March 9th, running a full page ad in Variety, and buying two billboards! They’re no longer taking donations, but they’re keeping the heat on - their postcard campaign continues unabated. Head here to see what you can do. |
