Firefly

As part of our Supanova celebrations we are very pleased to present a special screening, courtesy of Universal, of the Joss Whedon masterpiece, Serenity, at the Sydney Showground Amphitheatre.

What makes it special? Well it’ll be a DVD, not a film print, and the screen will be big, but not as big as a movie screen.

However we do have Summer Glau, the butt kicking space heroine “River” from the film and Firefly TV series, who will be on hand to personally introduce the film and field a few questions.

We’ll also be screening exclusive to Australia, courtesy of Sony Pictures, the San Diego Comic-Con Ghost Rider trailer starring Nicholas Cage. Due for March release next year, this footage will only be seen at Supanova during either the Friday Night Preview Opening Ceremony or before the Serenity Screening.

We’ll also be playing the Spider-Man 3 teaser and Casino Royale trailer and anything else we think is special enough to warrant it that we are able to discover between now and then...
