Scheduling updates released late last night confirm the Peacock has pulled the series from its Thursday, 8:30/7:30c home effective immediately. Repeats of "My Name Is Earl" are set to fill the half-hour for the next two weeks however no permanent replacement has been announced. To date this season, "Kings" has averaged a lackluster 7.47 million viewers, making it the network’s least-watched program on the night. Prior to the news, co-stars Josh Cooke and Shane McRae signed onto the ABC comedy pilots "A Day in the Life" and "Our Thirties" respectively. It’s not clear if or when NBC will air the six remaining produced episodes of "Kings." David Kohan and Max Mutchnick are the executive producers of the series, a co-production of KoMut Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television. 2 Forum messages |
