Classic Stephen King horror mini-series It is set for a remake.

Salem’s Lot screenwriter Peter Filardi is reportedly reworking the script of the 1990 TV epic, which starred Tim Curry as a demonic clown.

The original also starred John Ritter, Annette O’Toole and a young Seth Green.

The mini-series, based on King’s novel of the same name, follows the fortunes of seven kids fighting an evil clown, called Pennywise, in 1960s Maine.
