HNR was able to catch up with Smallville filming in Downtown Vancouver (or Metropolis as it has seemed lately with the stepped-up amount of Smallville filming downtown).

We’ll let a couple of posts from the HNR Forums describe the action:

“Just got back from watching some filming,

Managed to see Tom Welling doing some filming, it looks like he is going to be crossing the road at Thurlow and Cordova with a drink in hand and will almost get hit by a Luthorcorp utility vehicle which will crash into the nearby news stand.

Tom was wearing a blue and white plaid shirt and had a stunt double dressed the same as him off to the left of the camera, I think they were trying to work out the best camera angles to shoot at etc.”

And:

“I was there watching today, they were filming the scene where Clark uses his speed and everyone is frozen...the scene is a car is gonna hit Clark’s dad, then all of a sudden a kid wearing red with a backpack with the thunder sign on it, therefore beating Clark, so I’m thinking this is Flash, who else could it be???”
