With the NBC saddled with the low rated reality dud "Next Action Star," CBS has been able to take advantage by running off a series of Wednesday wins this summer. Meanwhile, though, FOX continues to dominate the night in the key demographics.

Overall, CBS averaged a 5.6 rating/10 share for the night, just in front of NBC’s 5.3/9. FOX was a solid third with a 4.4/8, well ahead of ABC’s 3.4/6. The WB took fifth for the night with a 1.3/2, leaving UPN to trail with a 0.9/2.
