  Hmm I think what the comic is implying is the cecily was already a vengeance demon (Halfrek) at the time when William met her. She takes vengeance upon the people at the party for what they said and did to William when he read his poetry to her. Well thats just my take on it, I’m probably wrong though.

  It didn’t need people to assume that he killed them.One of his ’friends’ claimed that he would rather have a railroad spike through his head rather than listen to William’s poetry... "I’d rather have a railroad spike through my head than listen to that awful stuff!" later Angelus said that William had endangered them with killing and his new ’convenient’ name ’Spike’.... it doesn’t need assuming you know from the evidence that that man had created his own way of death.

  Yeah Spike obviously killed SOME people with railroad pikes. Even if he got the idea from that party he didnt kill them. It was just assumed he killed them.

  I’m sure he knew, and loathed, more people than just those who were at the party. They got spiked in the head.

  I was just saying it was assumed that he killed the people at that party but never confirmed.

  HIYA, okay im sad enough to say that i have read pretty maids all in a row, and it tells you about the rail road spike insident, through flash back, and in another of the buffy books aswell, describes going to a party with them all there and he tracks and railroad spikes them with angelus, so all cleared up, he did kill them.
