From Bbc.co.uk AngelSpike spiked - James Marsters says he’s ready to move onThursday 10 June 2004, by Webmaster The latest issue of Angel Magazine includes an interview with James Marsters, who says he’d love to play Spike again, but feels maybe the time is right to explore other areas and parts. "If a project was offered to me that was cool and had Spike in it, I would love to do it," he says. "It’s a fabulous character, but at the same time, it seems to be over so it’s a good time to move on." "I’m excited about playing other characters. Frankly, I can’t wait to show the world my brown hair, and the fact that I don’t have an English accent and the fact that I don’t have to be the snarky guy all the time." "Whatever happens, I’ll be proud of this my whole life. I told Sarah Michelle Gellar long ago, "We can get $10 million paycheques and be part of huge movies, but I don’t know if we’re ever going to touch a nerve like this again."" Also included in Angel issue 12 are interviews with actors Vincent Kartheiser (Connor), Adam Baldwin (Hamilton) and writer Steven S DeKnight. Angel issue 12 is out today. 1 Message |
