Firefly

Woohoo!

As of this afternoon, the first draft of the Firefly novel (tentatively titled: My Own Kind of Freedom) is finished. This one is going to take a lot of revision, as I was (as usual) making it up as I went, and now that I know what happens, it’s got to be set up right. But I’m pleased with having finished, and pleased with the book.

Speaking of Firefly, I saw the movie in its final form and liked it. There are bunch of fans in town here for the opening, and I might be hanging with some of them tonight. But for now, I’m going to make some more notes about the revisions, and then, later, I’ll probably pour myself a nice drink of something, climb into my hot tub, and contemplate on what a grand world it is. At the moment.
