Zap2it.com Buffy The Vampire SlayerTV Gal Gets Face Time with Television’s Top NewcomersBy Amy Amatangelo Sunday 23 February 2003, by Webmaster Every television season brings some great new faces.
I’m not talking about the faces that may be new to the average viewer (because TV Gal readers are so not average). We were already familiar with the smoldering Principal Wood (D. B. Woodside) on "Buffy," the lithesome Van Ray (Peter Facinelli) on "Fastlane," and the perpetually charming Claudia (Sara Rue) on "Less Than Perfect." I’m talking about the people who, until now, have even escaped the TV Gal radar, which, let me tell you, is pretty hard to do. Where Have I Seen Them Before? Jack Kehler was stealing from Cecilia’s dad on "7th Heaven." He played Manny earlier this season on "Angel." To the TV Gal Reader Belong the Spoils Gina Torres, of the cancelled "Firefly," will be in the last three episodes of "Angel." Word is she’s the one behind all the Beast’s big badness To the TV Gal Reader Also Belong the Thoughtful Theories As the 2002-2003 television season heads toward its inevitable conclusion (sniff, sniff, be strong, I’ll still be here for you during the summer), many readers have been tossing out their theories about how some of this season’s biggest plot lines will end in May. You know, I feel kind of silly. All this time I’ve been saying there’s no way that the Cordelia we know and love would have slept with Connor, and it turns out I was right. We know something is up with Cordy, and many of you think we’ve got a Cordy Clone on our hands. After all, she and Angel were on guard when Manny was killed. Her visions made the gang unleash Angelus. When she first got back and Lorne read her, he saw pure evil. She did the spell to make Angel get his soul back and she knew it didn’t work. The list is endless. Either Cordy is being controlled or she’s a Cordy Clone and the real Cordy is still stuck being a higher being. Which makes me think — Sloane is so evil, he’s even affecting other shows on other networks. |
