It’s been great so far. I’ve lept tall buildings, over turned cars and had amazing gun battles...ok, maybe not but i wouldn’t put anything past Joss. I think what impresses me the most about the man other than his tremendous brain is how professional and level he is on set. He’s obviously dealing with a million difference things at once but he always seems to juggle everything with the same coolness and energy. His multi tasking is the most impressive, i’ve seen him go from writing a new scene in his head, to directing the next set up, to handling a network phone call and back to a conversation with me about.. hockey, of course and all in the span of two minutes. He’s an excellent writer and i’m learning to trust this journey he’s taking me on with the character Paul Ballard and i got to be honest with you i’m pretty damn excited about it. Tell us, in your own words, about the character you are playing. What’s your favorite aspect about your character thus far? What are his limitations? I’m still learning Paul. I have to be honest with you but i’ve done a fair amount of back story but i can’t share that with you..yet. Paul’s obviously a bit of a lone wolf. He’s extremely ambitious and at the same time self righteous. This, for me is one of the most intriguing things about him. Self righteous characters are almost always compelling, you wonder what drives them and gives them that outlook on the world. This of course could be Paul’s limitation in that his confidence in himself could make him blind to other possibilities and the help of others. Many of us Dollhousians are a little unfamiliar with you as an actor, can you give tell us alittle bit about your history? (i.e. how did you break into the business and what eventuallyled you to doll house)? Hmm..feel a little weird giving my resume but let’s just say that ever since i was a little boy i’ve been amazed at the medium of film and television. I knew that at some point i wanted to be an actor and not long after high school i enrolled in acting school. I would have to say that my biggest break was definitely Battle Star Galactica. It’s an incredible series and i encourage all you Dollhousians to start at the mini series and watch it through...if you start soon you’ll be caught up just in time for the conclusion of the series in January. Joss has been quoted on numerous occasions as saying in his opinion it’s the best show on Television so get on it and enjoy! Click on the link for more : |
