Technically, Sunnydale’s hottest nightspot wasn’t so much a traditional bar — for one thing, Buffy, Willow, and Xander weren’t legally able to partake of alcoholic libations until ’round about the show’s sixth season. But with its industrial warehouse vibe, penchant for presenting of-the-moment musicians (Michelle Branch, Nerf Herder, Aimee Mann), and insanely comprehensive insurance plan that covered literally dozens of demon attacks, the Bronze was the perfect place for the Slayer and her buds to unwind AND kick evil’s keister. —Adam B.
