Supernatural

Sam’s visions are no longer happening in his sleep - he’s now having painful premonitions while he’s awake. I’m sorry, do I need to start calling him "Cordy"? Cause that’s who he’s reminding me of.

Yes, I admit to closing my eyes a couple of times, most notably when that guy got guillotined. Oh, and then there was the part where this creepy Max dude, through telekinesis, pointed that very sharp knife right at the tip of his step-monster’s eye (played by Zelda from Sabrina the Teenage Witch).

I don’t know about you, but it seems to me that the Dean-centric episodes - while awesome in their own right - are not really furthering anything with the main story arc. The Sam-centric ones do. Just an interesting observation, in an observationally interesting way.

So Psychic Sammy finds a connection with Max, who offed his dad and uncle because they abused him. It turns out their moms were killed the same way. Both mothers were murdered above their cribs when they were babies, and now both have developed these powers.

Where is this all leading? I have no idea. And don’t think I’m not gonna mention that for a brief moment or two, Sam and Dean became Father Whatawastes when they "found God" in order to dig up some info. Calling themselves the KISS - like Father Simmons and Father Frehley? Hilarious.

And did I actually hear Sam say something decent about Big Daddy Winchester? Finally! But it was after Sam admitted to Dean that he can now count telekinesis as one of his sudden powers made me go all warm and fuzzy on the inside. He said that, unlike poor, just-committed-suicide Max, Sam has an advantage: "Me.

As long as I’m around, nothing bad’s gonna happen to you." Hate to break it to you, Dean, but have you seen next week’s preview?
