(KP International) - Rumours spreading like wildfire that Charlize Theron has split from her boyfriend of five years Stuart Townsend are apparently false. "My official comment is ’They definitely have NOT split,’ and next week you’ll be writing they got married. We can’t win," Theron’s publicist Amanda Silverman is reported saying.

A supposed ’pal’ of the stunning South African actress recently told the British newspaper The Sun that "Charlize is free and single again. Her relationship with Stuart is well and truly over. They just grew apart. It wasn’t always easy because filming often kept them apart for months." With the rumours quashed, the good-looking couple can go about their movie-making business in peace. Theron has signed to appear in ’The Brazilian Job,’ a sequel to 2003’s ’The Italian Job’ (which was a remake of a 1969 Michael Caine movie of the same title). The film will reunite Theron with costars Mark Wahlberg, Seth Green and Mos Def.

Townsend is currently filming the romantic comedy ’Chaos Theory’ in British Columbia with Ryan Reynolds.
