Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly creator Whedon is back this midseason, and he’s taking on a new genre that has nothing to do with vampires or spaceships. Eliza Dushku will play Echo, a mysterious operative who regularly gets her mind wiped and is implanted with a new personality. "We’re not doing Alias," executive producer Tim Minear said. "It’s not like every week she’s the same character who is pretending to be somebody else. She’s not pretending: She actually has these memories."
