  Has Tim ever written a script before or Directed...Well I guess Joss wouldnt of given him the go ahead,if he didnt think he could do it.....David Boreanaz directed one of the Angel Episodes,and did a good job.....He might find an in built talent for Directing like Ron Howard.

  He did write and direct at least one episode of Firefly and a few Angel episodes (Lullaby, the one where Darla gave birth to Conor comes to mind as well as the 2nd last episode of season 3, and the 4th season final). As far as I am concerned, he would be my third choice, 1st being Joss and 2nd Dave Fury.

  Excelent news. Hope that this actually panns out.

  If Tim has ever written or directed an episode? he only did some of the best EVER.

  Angel:(written AND directed) Home(season finale from s4), Lullaby, Darla, Through the looking glass, Couplet, Benediction

  (written OR directed) The Prodigal, The Ring, Sanctuary, Are you now or have you been?, The Trial, Reunion, Reprise, Epiphany, Billy, A new World

  Some of those are easilly some of the best of the series. He was the showrunner for the s4 and was the third man in charge, I guess(after joss and david greenwalt)

  And he’s executive producer of Firefly and Wonderfalls. That makes credentials for being at least AWESOME

  Where’s the source for Alyson being offered to do a Spike movie and turning it down? I don’t know if she would or should do it, but the only statements from her I’ve seen from public sources have been very supportive of a Spike movie being made.

  All I have to say is that this movie had better be set during present day. None of that flashback movie crap. A flashback movie is just another excuse as to why none of the other characters appear in the move. I’d love for Wes to be in it, but Illyria should be in it at the very least.

  I’am A Big Buffy And Angel Fan But Don’t Get Me Wrong When I Say I Love Spike As A Character But I Think It Will Suck Without Any original Characters. It Would Be Better If David Boreanaz And Sarah Michelle Gellar Were In The Movie, There Is So Much More To Be Told When It Comes To Buffy And Angel, But Not Spike. P.S - I Hope I’am Proved Wrong

  i think there would be alot of buffy and angel fans who still watch buffy and angel shows. there are alot of us out there. the show by itself is mind blowing and there is something about these shows that just draw fans in. i have every buffy episode, and watch them all the time If there is talk bout a spike movie, myself and alot of houndreds and thounsand people will say hope to see it early next year. For the fans that have been following the show since the beginning, i feel that something has to come out of it. keep the buffy and angel spirt alive just a hit..... a faith movie would really kick ass
