From Mediaweek.com Tru Calling 1x07 Morning After - RatingsMonday 22 December 2003, by Webmaster Tru Calling Overnight Ratings Primetime Metered Market Ratings CBS 13.3/20 NBC 8.6/13 ABC 5.3/8 UPN 4.3/6 FOX 3.7/6 WB 3.0/5 Yesterday’s Winners: Friends R (NBC), CSI (CBS), Without A Trace (CBS) Yesterday’s Losers: Tru Calling (Fox), Primetime Thursday (ABC) Ratings Breakdown: Fueled by original episodes of CSI (#1 for the evening: 18.1/27) and Without A Trace (#1: 14.3/22) from 9-11 p.m., and opposite two-and-a-half hours of repeats on NBC, CBS’s winning advantage was 55 percent last night. Although a repeat of NBC’s Friends opened with a first place 10.8/17, the recently relocated Good Morning, Miami fell to second at 8:30 p.m. in the overnights with an 8.1/12 — five percent below the second half of CBS’s The Price Is Right Million Dollar Spectacular (8.5/13). Overall, The Price Is Right averaged a respectable 7.8/12 from 8-9 p.m. Repeats of NBC’s Will & Grace (#2: 8.2/12), Scrubs (#2: 6.7/10) and ER (#2: 8.9/14) were at typical non-original levels from 9-11 p.m. In the battle of the freshman Thursday 8 p.m. dramas, ABC’s Threat Matrix (#3: 5.3/ 8) had a 51 percent advantage over Fox’s barely visible Tru Calling (#6: 3.5/ 6) last night. Although repeat holiday specials How the Grinch Stole Christmas (#4: 4.6/ 7) and Scooby-Doo Christmas (#5: 3.9/ 6) put the WB on the 8-9 p.m. map, repeats of The Jamie Kennedy Experiment (#6: 2.1/ 3) and Run of the House (#6: 1.5/ 2) could not capitalize from the increased lead-in. At 9 p.m., a repeat of ABC’s Extreme Makeover (#3: 5.0/ 7) outdelivered back-to-back repeats of Fox’s The Simple Life (avg. 3.9/ 6) by 28 percent. ABC’s Primetime Thursday, which should of benefited by the absence of an original episode of NBC’s competing ER, failed to deliver with a distant third place 5.8/ 9 at 10 p.m. Over at UPN, WWE Smackdown! scored a typical 4.3/ 6 from 8-10 p.m. |
