In this episode, there is a murder at Tru’s high school reunion.

Tru goes to her 5 year high school reunion with Lindsay, Luc and Harrison.

Back in high school, there was some sort of big drama between Tru and her classmate and best friend, Candace (the victim) and Candace stole Tru’s boyfriend.

At the reunion, Tru runs into the gossip queen Judy, who goes on and on about various classmates, including Candace (the future victim). Candace was the prom queen in high school and has been come rather successful. She’s also has some sort of recent tragedy. Tru excuses herself to get way from Judy yammering on.

But Judy keeps talking, finally being serious. Says something about Tru letting Candace drown. Judy talks about how Candace gets what she deserves and how she should have been Prom Queen. Tru notices how jealous Judy is and it’s clear that Judy could be the potential murderer.

Harrison is only there at the reunion to pick a fight with a big guy named Keith Morgan for some reason and it ends up going badly.

It also seems like Harrison and Lindsay are dating.

Tru also talks to her favorite teacher, Mr. Connor, and finds out he’s written a novel.

Candace is murdered and the day repeats.

Harrison and Tru argue about him going to the reunion, and Harrison realizes that Tru is repeating the day. Tru explains to him what happens and he gets annoyed about her powers.

Tru goes to Candace’s rather nice apartment. Tru wants to make up for what happened in high school and be friends again. Candace says she’s written a novel all about their high school. Tru tells her straight out she can’t go to the reunion. Candace thinks Tru’s still jealous and doesn’t want her there to upstage her. She predicts that Tru will be there with Lindsay in an old dress, and Tru gets all pissed off because she’s right.

At the reunion, Tru is named Reunion queen, but skips out on the ceremony.

Harrison and Luc are at the bar. Harrison spots Keith Morgan, and Luc and Harrison head off to do something to him.

Tru walks the hallways looking for Candace or Judy. She finds a teacher, Mr. Connor, who says he’s grading papers. He tells him her suspicions that Judy will hurt Candace. He doubts anything violent will happen, so Tru asks him to be on the look out for either of them and then goes off again.

They flash back to act 1 where Tru is dancing with Mr. Connor, and he mentions he’s writing a book.

But Mr. Connor wasn’t grading papers, he had a manuscript on his desk.

It’s getting close to 10 o’clock, the time Candace is murdered.

Out at the pool, Mr. Connor is talking to Candace about her recent writing success. He’s been struggling to get published for years and her first attempt she’s written what will be a very successful novel.

Mr. Connor says the only way he’ll write a book as good as hers is to steal hers. He reaches for her neck and then Tru turns on the lights. She says she’s seen the book Candace has written, so he’ll have to kill her too. He stops. Tru says she won’t tell what he nearly did if he resigns.
