 Ratings Breakdown: Without American Idol, Fox came down to earth with its Thursday combination of Tru Calling (#5: 4.2/ 6) and a repeat of My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance (#5: 4.5/ 6) fifth for the evening in the overnights and tied with ABC for third overall based on adults 18-49 (2.5/ 6 according to the fast affiliate ratings). Since I was not here to report on the debut of My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance, premiering out of American Idol on Monday beginning at 9:08 p.m. netted a first place time period finish in households (11.6/17), viewers (19.65 million) and adults 18-49 (9.1/20) nationally. Of course, if I were being filmed writing this newsletter and led out of American Idol, I would be a top 10 show too!
