We couldn’t help noticing that Angel was absent from Five’s schedules this week. With only seven episodes of season three left to be shown after last week’s Loyalty, we contacted Five’s duty office to investigate the vampire detective’s whereabouts.

Five told us that they are trying out some different programmes in the Angel timeslot for the time being. They couldn’t tell us when Angel would return.

Instead, Five viewers can see Mystery of the Ice Mummy followed by Killer Squid Attack at 7.30 tonight, then Rome’s Greatest Mummies paired with Piranha Attack next week.
