Yay, loody! Been looking for this Q. I’ve heard producers have approached Eliza Dushku about a Faith spinoff, but she hasn’t yet decided whether she wants to do it. I visited the Angel set on Friday—the entire cast was there, including Alyson Hannigan, who’s guesting on an upcoming ep—but wasn’t able to talk to Eliza about the haps. So we have to hold our breath and wait for the outcome. But I do believe Buffy as we know it is coming to an end.

The episode looks amazing—lots of yummy surprises. Fred calls Willow, asking for her help in turning Angelus back into Angel, after they resurrect him in an effort to beat the Beast. Willow comes to L.A., has some chummy scenes with Fred and even a scene with real-life hubby-to-be Wesley (Alexis Denisof), and at the end of her stint, she returns to Sunnydale with Faith in tow. That’s the end of Eliza Dushku’s three-ep arc on Angel and begins her five-ep arc on Buffy.

Willow’s going to get some lip lovin’ from Kennedy, but it has a somewhat Angel-ic effect on her: Willow turns into Warren.

I have so many goodies and quotes to share (Q & A’s with Alyson, Alexis, David, Eliza), that it’s going to have to wait until a column with proper space. But the good thing is that they all seemed very much open to a big-bang, last-hurrah crossover for the Buffy finale—so much so, that I’m startin’ to suspect it’s already in the works.
