Abqtrib.com What’s on tonight : Wednesday (david boreanaz mention)Wednesday 13 September 2006, by Webmaster I guess crime procedural "Bones" (7 p.m., KASA-Channel 2) was lacking in workplace tension, so that’s why they brought in Cam (Tamara Taylor) as the new boss of the Jeffersonian lab. Otherwise, I can’t see the point of this woman. She may be some romantic foil for Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz), but I want her gone. Tonight things get tense when Brennan and Cam butt heads over their different work styles, and the socially unskilled Brennan recoils at Cam’s push for power. Meanwhile, Brennan also has to piece together the mystery of a young man whose body was found wrapped in a shroud. As Booth and Brennan try to unravel the limited clues of the case, the parents of the deceased boy point a suspicious finger at their son’s young girlfriend. Brennan’s not buying that theory and continues to dig deeper even if it means she’ll get a pink slip from that horrible, horrible woman. Noooooo! I loved Jimmy Kimmel on "The Man Show," and whenever I can stay conscious long enough, I try to catch his late night show. God bless ABC’s little heart because they’re letting me go to bed early by airing "Jimmy Kimmel Live’s All-Star Salute to Jimmy Kimmel Live!" (9 p.m., KOAT-Channel 7) at a decent time. There will be tons of clips from the show including celebrity surprise cameos, music performances, comedy segments and highlights from regular correspondents like Uncle Frank, Aunt Chippy and security guard Guillermo. Just what my Wednesday night needed. "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County" (11 p.m., MTV) is like a car wreck: I can’t stop looking at. The unscripted drama about richy rich California teens is still drawing me in even though former stars Kristin Cavallari and LC are gone. They’ve been replaced by good girl Tessa and the girl I love to hate, Kyndra. Tess, at times, is a little whiny and boring, but Kyndra actually makes Alexis from "Dynasty" seem like a sweetheart in comparison. Her willingness to be the villainess makes for some great catty TV. Let the claws come out. |
