Scarlett fever - Movie goddess gets Playboy vote as sexiest celeb and puts Pamela, J.Lo and Angelina on Hef’s B list

There’s Scarlett - and then there’s the rest of them.

Mariah Carey may be Playboy’s March covergirl, but "It" actress Scarlett Johansson is the skin mag’s choice for Sexiest Celebrity.

The 22-year-old, already a veteran of 33 films and a staple of the gossip pages, has been linked with several of entertainment’s hottest hunks, including Justin Timberlake and Josh Hartnett.

"Scarlett Johansson is the apex of beauty and sensuality - from her porcelain skin to her fully feminine figure to her mysterious charisma, which is at once palpable and undefinable," the Playboy editors write.

They make it clear she’s No. 1 and then name 24 other beauties, in no particular order.

Some have been ubiquitous for years. Who could mistake Paris Hilton in her postage-stamp bikini for anyone else? On the other hand, you’re forgiven if you couldn’t pick out all of the Pussycat Dolls - Nicole, Ashley, Melody, Kimberly, Jessica and Carmit - in their group shot.

Other hotties include Charisma Carpenter, who assisted in the dispatching of numerous monsters in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" on TV.

Bronx-born Jennifer Lopez made the cut, as did Beyoncé, Pamela Anderson, Angelina Jolie and a lot of other girl-next-door types.
