LET’S PARTY!

At Whedonverse and Beyond, we’ve got a lot to celebrate:

James Marsters, on the heels of the release of his first solo CD - Civilized Man, has just completed a hugely successful seven-date, sold-out concert tour of the UK.

Common Rotation returns to the US fresh off their own indie-rockin’ tour of London, Glasgow and Liverpool.

And last - but certainly not least - our Big Damn Heroes had a kick-ass sneak preview of SERENITY in 10 - count ’em, 10 - cities across the country.

Rave reviews abound for ALL of these events leaving the rest of us bitin’ at the bit for our chance to share in the fun. So, yeah - we’re pretty happy about bringing all of this excitement to Sacramento in July. So, here’s what we’re gonna do about it...

Alternate Universe Presents would like to open up the the purchase of autograph tickets, photo ops and Evening at The Bronze Concert tickets to our Weekend Boarding Pass holders! To get you started and in honor of that outstanding 10-city sneak peak, we’re kicking in a Serenity Shindig Special of one free autograph with either Nathan Fillion or Adam Baldwin! You choose which one you want when you get to Sacramento. (Please note that this offer DOES NOT include options to purchase Meet and Greet, Banquet or James Marsters’ Talk Back tickets.) *

AUP has also heard your questions about extra autographs for James Marsters, so we’re adding those to the Shopping Cart choices as well. Buy ’til your heart’s content. There is no limit on the quantity of extra autographs you may purchase... unless you go nuts and try to buy a few 100. *

Please note that James Marsters will be doing two photo sessions. So if you want to purchase more than one photo op with our Civilized Man, then go for it! *

And while we’re at it, we’re adding in an extra autograph option for David Fury, too - ’cause we like him.... (OK, and also ’cause that guy is always writing something - BUFFY, ANGEL, FIREFLY, LOST, and now, THE INSIDE and 24 - really, he’s like the Energizer Writin’ Bunny!)

Remember, there are no limits on how many extra autographs or photo op tickets you may purchase at this time.

ONE LAST ANNOUNCEMENT: We are sorry to say that the James Marsters’ Talk Back tickets are almost sold out! Oh, come on, who are we kidding?!? We’re not sorry about that at all. We’re actually pretty excited about making this a fun, relaxed talk for James and you. But seriously folks, the tickets are almost gone, so hurry up and get your Talk Back ticket - ’cause it’s gonna ROCK!

We at Alternate Universe Presents are now offering a payment plan for the Pretty Pass, Shiny Pass and The Bronze Pass. You may pay 50% now with the balance due by May 25, 2005.

All payments are non-refundable. If you do not pay for your ticket in full by May 25, 2005, you forfeit your deposit.

You MAY NOT purchase any special event tickets or extras until the balance is paid in full.

The Elisabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will be splitting the proceeds from our Live Charity Auction.

We at Alternate Universe Presents have been busy working on yet another "behind-the-scenes" surprise for Whedonverse and Beyond. We are excited to announce our newest guest, David Fury. You might recognize his name from his work on Buffy, Angel, Firefly, and this little known show called Lost!

The Furious One will be joining us for the full three day weekend of activities, including attendance at the "Smile Time" Meet and Greet and the "Happy Meals on Legs" Banquet. He’ll be speaking about being part of the Whedonverse Hat Trick of Buffy, Angel and Firefly. Plus he’ll be talking about his latest venture, co-exec producer of Lost - and he’ll be gearing up for season 2 in July, folks, so get those questions ready!

Alternate Universe Presents is very excited to announce that JAMES MARSTERS and COMMON ROTATION will be appearing in concert on Friday night, July 8th in Sacramento!

Tickets are on a first come, first serve basis for ONLY those convention attendees holding a Pretty, Shiny, or Bronze Pass.

PLUS, as an added bonus, we are making available 125 SPECIAL PASSES that will include the concerts, an autographed copy of Common Rotation’s latest CD, an autographed copy of James Marsters’ solo acoustic CD, AND an exclusive after concert talk with James Marsters.

Due to his limited schedule, James will only be doing a few events this year, and we are delighted that he is coming to Sacramento . This is currently James’ ONLY west coast appearance, don’t miss it!

James Marsters’ new solo CD and Common Rotation’s CDs will be available for purchase at the concert.
