Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Willow’s best moments

Sunday 27 March 2011, by Webmaster

While there’s no denying Buffy Summers was indeed the main character on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," I don’t think many people would argue with me that it was actually Willow Rosenberg who went through the most extreme, dynamic and heartbreaking arc in the show’s seven seasons.

Episode One: Poorly dressed shy nerd in love with her best guy friend whose only hope of escaping Sunnydale was her intellect.

Episode One-Hundred and Forty-Five: One of the most powerful witches in the world, and perhaps history. Kissed aforementioned best friend, dated a werewolf, lost her virginity, battled the snake-mayor, fell in love with a woman, developed a drug-like addiction to magic, flayed a fella, became one with the Earth, saved humanity by unlocking mystical powers in a scythe and momentarily became a "white" witch. And she did all of that while still being poorly dressed.

Clearly I could go on for days talking about all of Willow’s best moments — "I do doodle, you do too, you do doodle too," "cuz with the ziti," "bored now" — I thought in honor of Alyson Hannigan’s 37th birthday, I’d highlight her characters most outstanding episode ever, "Doppelgangland!"
