Wizard World Returns to the Long Beach Convention Center

All the waiting and the hard work has finally paid off as the 2005 Wizard World Tour is about to kick off this weekend at the Long Beach Convention Center.

We’ve got a great line up of guests and events planned. Here is just some of what we have planned for you...

Guest of Honor Marvel Studios Chief Avi Arad is bring along “Human Torch” Chris Evans for a inside look at the upcoming Fantastic Four movie on Saturday. Meet Chris and Avi at their signing session after their panel.

Check out Batman Begins Exclusive footage at our special presentation on Saturday.

Ryan Reynolds and Melissa George will be discussing their upcoming remake of The Amityville Horror on Saturday, as well as signing autographs for fans.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon will be on hand Sunday to give fans a look at his upcoming movie Serenity. Joining Joss for the panel and signing session will be Serenity cast members Nathan Fillion, Jewel Staite, Morgina Baccarin and Sean Maher.

Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes will be on hand Saturday and Sunday. Kevin’s Q&A panel will be one of the highlights on Saturday.

Stan Lee, the man who created Spider-Man, X-Men and the Fantastic Four will be appearing on Saturday.

Writers and creators from Smallville, Lost and The OC will also be appearing.

Meet some of you favorite movie and TV stars in our Autograph Area. Appearing this weekend is Lou Ferrigno, Erin Gray, Catherine Bach, Kate Jackson and many more.

Be a part of WizKid’s Wizard World HeroClix Invitational, as well as their Mech Warrior and Mage Knight tournaments. Upper Deck is holding a $10,000 Vs. tournament with a chance to qualify for their $1,000,000 Pro Circuit. There will also be Dragon Booster, Inuyashu and DBZ tournaments sponsored by Score.
