If you could have been in the TV show Buffy, would you rather have been a Scooby or The Big Bad?

Comic book writer and artist Ted Naifeh : I’m a Scoob, all the way. I think I’d like to be someone like Jonathan, but show up more regularly, and somehow end up in a threesome with Will and Tara. No one would know how it happened, least of all me. And Xander would hate me forever. Frankly, if I’d been on the writing staff, that’d have been Jonathan’s fate, rather the sad, pathetic one he ended up with. But overall, I think that show forgot that the sad parts only worked because it was also tons of fun. It stopped being fun in the end.
