From Darkhorizon.com Young Lois Lane Required - More InfosBy Garth Frankli Thursday 17 June 2004, by xanderbnd Margot Kidder had the everyday clumsy charm, Teri Hatcher had sex appeal and smarts in one package, now someone is needed to fill the ample high heels and tough attitude of the one and only Lois Lane - or at least a younger version of her. No this is not one of those endless casting speculations about who’ll be playing the Daily Planet reporter and love interest to a certain Man of Steel in the upcoming "Superman" movie, rather it’s talk of her predecessor on TV’s "Smallville". KryptonSite reports that a casting call has gone out to agents for the role of Lois Lane, a "recurring guest star for the first four episodes" of Season Four of the show which premieres this Fall. Like the Lois we know and love, she’s described as "caucasian, smart, beautiful, urban, headstrong, and no-nonsense. An army brat raised by a US General which made her tough as nails, and hides her vulnerability with sarcasm and wit" . SPOILERS AHEAD FOR SEASONS 1-3 Unlike the character though this will be before Lois gets into journalism. At this point in her life, Lois is in her early twenties and has no interest in journalism. She’s in Smallville to investigate the apparent death of her cousin - the regular character Chloe (Allison Mack). An announcement is expected soon. This year of the show will also see the inclusion of a new regular - Jason Teague. Teague is a sexy, handsome Metropolis rich kid with a love of football, jetting overseas for the Summer, and pursuing a degree in education. As for the "Superman" movie, McG gave a short video interview about it to IESB, nothing new sadly - for now he can’t talk about it. Thanks to ’Norris’ & ’Robert’ |
