Monday 20 June 2005, by Anonymous : I am ready! Faith-spinoff here we go!Tuesday 21 June 2005, by Anonymous : In addition to Faith, let’s also have a spin-off of Amy the Rat! Or we could have a spin-off of Dawn’s friend Janice. Maybe we could get a spin-off of Robin Wood! How about a spin-off of the Janitor guy in that "I Only Have Eyes for You" who got arrested even though ghost spirits made him do it! Come on people let’s not limit ourselves! This is a WHOLE UNIVERSE full of characters, I’m sure there’s an episode that has a guy crossing the street in the background whose story is just as interesting as any other Buffy character. Better yet, let’s petition for the Buffy Spin-off network - 24 hours of programming about lesser known characters! AWESOME!! I just can’t get enough BUFFY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Tuesday 21 June 2005, by Anonymous : I think people need to learn to LET GO. Let the franchise die with dignity.Tuesday 21 June 2005, by Anonymous : If you support Eliza and have expendable income to give to a charity, you should donate money to Camp Hale instead.Tuesday 21 June 2005, by JJ : the shows taught us not just to let go.If everyone let go the world would crumble. If you love something and believe in its meassage enough there is no reason to let go.Tuesday 21 June 2005, by Anonymous : "the shows taught us not just to let go.If everyone let go the world would crumble. If you love something and believe in its meassage enough there is no reason to let go." Hey Loser, It’s a freakin’ TV Show. The world is not going to crumble because Faith does not get a Spin-off. If you’re concerned about the world crumbling, then turn off your TV and do some volunteer work with people less fortunate than yourself. It’s amazing how many people take the energy to rally around a TV show, but rarely take the time to even pick up trash off the sides of the street in their own neighborhood. TV does not keep the world from crumbling!!! Tuesday 21 June 2005, by Lightess : I’m all for a Faith show! Maybe they could go for what they wanted at the ens of Buffy and do that Spike/Faith show. But this sounds good too. I’m not holding my hopes up though...Tuesday 21 June 2005, by MeH : A new spin-off would be great to see, but it would be even better if it was not about Faith. They need a spin-off with a more famous character like...Xander, or Willow, or even Andrew in his new duities as a Watcher. That would be humourous to see. Anywho, Faith just isn’t really a good character to do a spin-off on, especially since Eliza already had her own televison show previously. It would just confuse too many people if she had another.Wednesday 22 June 2005, by Anonymous : "TV does not keep the world from crumbling!!!" No, but I think the point is to try and keep TV from crubling. Wednesday 22 June 2005, by Anonymous : I don’t think the person was acting "righteous". I think he was just commenting on someone saying that the world was crumbling without a Faith TV show. I understand being a dedicated fan, I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t. But I also think it’s unhealthy for a persons entire world to revolve around a television show. Someone who makes a comment about the world crumbling because of their TV show not continuing is taking it a little too far. So charity work or not, if Buffy means that much to you, it might do you goods to get involved with some other activities outside of your television set. Let’s face Star Trek fans who actually learn Klingon as a language ARE laughable. I would hate for the same connotations to apply to Buffy fans!Thursday 23 June 2005, by Anonymous : "Hey Loser, It’s a freakin’ TV Show. As for the person who told people who are "judging" to get out of the forums, last time I checked I live in a free country where the first amendment says something about that little thing called "freedom of speech". Me, I’m just stating an opinion, I’m not trying to be a bad guy saying that the whedonverse should end or whatever but there’s so much more to life than sitting in front of the freaking boob-tube waiting for a spin-off of Buffy/Angel. The person whom I quoted above was not trying to be rude or anything, he was stating that the world will indeed not crumble if you LET GO (yes, I said that) of Joss Whedon’s shows - the world will crumble if you let go of friends, family and manners. I think the franchise needs to die in excellence, not with repetitive shows. Again, this is just my opinion. Thursday 23 June 2005, by Keith : Whenever I see articles like this, I worry. As much as I love Faith, I’d hate to see her return in a show co-starring Spike, I’d hate to see the fiesty, no-nonsense Slayer abused by him. In the end, S7 was painful to watch. At its best the show was about the Scoobies, not an abusive, self-absorbed vampire. Faith, great. With Spike? I’ll pass. Thursday 23 June 2005, by Anonymous : I didn’t realize people who watch Buffy were so against doing volunteer work.Friday 24 June 2005, by Anonymous : Hey Caleb, Maybe in addition to using your freedom of speech, you can also use spell check and the space bar. I’m glad I don’t strike YOU as intelligent.Friday 24 June 2005, by Anonymous : "by the way i am wondering if you would be better in spelling words using my language" Sorry! I don’t speak retard, so probably not. These comments are an anwser to this article : Faith Spin-Off - Whedonverse.org Campaign
