My college roomate thought the same, although a lot of girls I know would be icked by the idea. When I got my BA in theater,we studied the idea of gender roles as "construced" by society. Not only do I like the visual of 2 guys kissing, I also like examining the dynamic of power exchange. Tuesday 25 October 2005, by Isabell : Unfortunately, in our society the visual of two guys kissing is still frowned upon or even commented on with disgusting and hateful verbal diarrhea. While it’s widely considered that girl on girl action is ’hot’ and a ’turn-on’ for men, it’s seldomly heard of women stating something like that about guy on guy action. Well, I can honestly say it is for me! And I tell my men that. I don’t expect or even want them to share these feelings but a least they gotta except them. I’m swooning over gay fanfiction/slash like ’Spangel’ and found another f***ing fantastic fandom in ’Queer as Folk’. Men shouldn’t start to ’freak out’ when a girlfriend likes two guys together - she probably won’t expect him to put on a show for her with his best bud. And you should avoid making any kind of ’yuck’ or ’choking’ sounds, they only show how immature and insecure you feel about your own sexuality ;-[] So yes - definitely HOT!!!
